Tom Johnson, owner of the best technical writing podcast blog on the Internet, has just made my day.
In the dark of night, while we were all dreaming of sugar plums and jargon-free content, he shook his mojo bag and produced Writer River (www.writerriver.com), a social media news site for technical communicators.
The site works much like Digg. Readers submit technical writing content they feel is worthy of attention from the community. Other readers then "float" or "sink" that content, giving it a higher or lower rating. The result is a ranked list of informative news, all related to technical writing.
Writer River is a great way to stay up to date on technical writing trends.
Tom, I have only one question: Do you ever sleep?
